If within the one year guarantee period, your jewelry requires any maintenance or repairs due to a manufacturing defect, Birks will provide necessary assistance, free of charge, upon inspection of jewelry and proof of guarantee. However, if maintenance or repairs are not attributed to a manufacturing defect or occur after the guarantee period has passed, a service charge will be applied. If any of the above should occur, we recommend presenting this guarantee at your closest Birks authorized retailer.
Please note that the Birks Fine Jewelry & High Jewelry Guarantee does not apply to the merchandise that (a) has been subject to misuse, neglect, abuse, improper storage or accident, whether intentional or unintentional; (b) has not been properly maintained, or (c) has been altered, modified or serviced by any person other than Birks Group Inc.
